Study Grant Application

Eligibility
This program is intended to aid graduate students, professors, historians, and other researchers who wish to make use of the resources of the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives. Please consult guidelines before completing form.

Note all fields MUST be completed.

  • Research Proposal

  • Capsule summary of approximately 150 words of the research project you wish to conduct. (Note resources to be consulted)
  • Please estimate expenses in the following categories: Travel - Indicate means of travel and approximate fare. Lodging - Indicate accommodations needed, length of proposed stay, and approximate cost. Research Related Expenses - Photocopying, etc.
  • List in reverse chronological order including Dates, Organization, Location, and Position/Activity
  • List in reverse chronological order including Dates, Institutions, Degree(s) and Field of Specialization

  • Conditions of GrantI hereby verify that I have read the guidelines for the study grant program of the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives, Council of Seminary Presidents, SBC. If I am a recipient of a grant I agree to place in the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives a copy of the [circle one: dissertation, thesis, monograph, or other document] developed from research project for which a grant is received. I agree to submit this copy within twenty-four months after the grant is received unless an extension is granted. If after three years a copy of the completed study has not been submitted, or an extension approved by the Director of the Library and Archives, I understand that the grant will be considered a loan and I will repay the grant plus 8% interest per annum.
