Information for visiting researchers
Security and Entry
The SBHLA is located on the 4th floor of the SBC Building in downtown Nashville. Researchers and visitors need to be aware of the entry procedures to the building. It is always best to alert the SBHLA staff of your visit, although it is not required. All guests arriving by automobile are required to stop at the entry gate to gain entrance to the parking garage. Follow the instructions on the signage for entry. After parking, enter the glass doors to the Welcome Desk. Researchers walking to the building will gain entry through the front door by following the entry signage instructions. All guests will sign in and receive a guest badge. A SBHLA staff person will escort you to the 4th floor and the SBHLA.
