May 13-14, 1988

The Woman’s Missionary Union, Auxiliary to the Southern Baptist Convention, held its Centennial Celebration Friday and Saturday, May 13-14, 1988, in Richmond, Virginia.  News stories of the event were released by the WMU during the conference.  The news releases included coverage of pre-conference events and tours, and various events at the celebration including pageants, re-enactments, speakers and addresses, missionaries commissioned, and participants’ reflections on the Woman’s Missionary Union’s contributions to Southern Baptist life and ministry.  The news releases in this presentation are arranged by date and alphabetical order by story title.  The stories are any word searchable.
