Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program

1925-1980

The Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program, 1925-1980 manuscript was written by SBC Executive Committee staff member Albert McClellan in 1980. McClellan, who retired from the Executive Committee on December 31, 1980, had served as a member of the EC staff since 1949. He first served as director of publications for the EC from 1949-1959, then as director of program planning beginning in 1959, and later also as the EC’s associate executive secretary. This 105-page manuscript is divided into an introduction and nine chapters that address the history, purpose, and objectives of the SBC Cooperative Program.
