One Spirit: Women in Church Staff Leadership was a quarterly publication of the Pastor-Staff Leadership Department of the Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. One Spirit was first published in 1996 with Linda A. Miniard serving as Editor. Issues were normally 8 pages in length and contained articles about women’s ministry leadership including topics of administration, communication, hospitality, mentoring, planning, shepherding, teaching, and the role of women in church staff ministry. Most articles were written by women but some were authored by men. Other components of the publication included interviews with Baptist women ministry leaders, suggested readings, upcoming women’s conferences and events, and recipes.
