Our Home Field and Home Field was the publication of the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention from 1888 to its suspension in 1916. It was succeeded by Home and Foreign Fields in 1917. The name of the HMB publication changed in December of 1909 from Our Home Field to Home Field. The monthly journal in early years included only 8 pages but grew to a publication of 32 to 40 pages. Home Field includes articles and mission stories about mission work among Native Americans, immigrants, the deaf, Jewish missions, mountain mission school endeavors, and work in New Orleans, Cuba, and Panama. Victor I. Masters served as editor of the publication for many of these years.
