1974-1987
The Evangelism Conference, SBC (now Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists) formed in 1955 as a fellowship of full-time Southern Baptist evangelists from across the United States. The SBC Radio and Television Commission recorded the proceedings of the annual meetings of the Evangelism Conference starting in 1974. The meetings preceded the meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention and usually included 4 or 5 sessions. The conference included music and several evangelists as speakers including E. J. Daniels, Lewis Drummond, John Haggai, Rudy Hernandez, Angel Martinez, Eddie Martin, Adrian Rogers, Bailey Smith, Charles Stanley, and Jerry Vines.
Recordings in this presentation were transferred from cassette tape audio recordings. Each year of the proceedings follow the daily order of the conference. Recordings are identified by year and speaker’s name. Listeners of the proceedings need to be aware that while the vast majority of the recordings are good quality, some recordings are poor and difficult to understand.
