America 250

As the nation celebrates America’s Semiquincentennial in 2026, the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives has provided resources documenting and illustrating the contributions of Baptists to the American Revolution and the American history fabric during the young republic’s early years. Materials on this site chronicle Baptists’ role in the pursuit of religious liberty and separation of church and state in the years surrounding the nation’s founding.
