1991-2006
Salt and E-Salt (the electronic version) were newsletter format publications of the Christian Life Commission/Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. The publication originated from the Washington, D.C. office of the Commission with Tom Strode serving as editor. The newsletter dealt with contemporary moral issues, religious liberty concerns, and some political matters. Salt and E-Salt included information concerning resources of interest, web sites, and news of meetings and conferences. The digital presence of these publications on the SBHLA website cover the period from 1991-2006.
