1846-1855
The Indian Advocate was a monthly periodical published in Louisville, Kentucky from 1846-1855. It was published under the patronage of the American Indian Mission Association. It includes proceedings of the American Indian Mission Association, letters and reports from missionaries working with Native American congregations and missions, religious articles and articles about Native American groups and tribes. The newspaper was usually 4 or 6 pages in length. Because of the unique font and the poor quality of the original newspapers, optical character recognition was not used on this newspaper
