The Christian Home Series was produced by the Radio Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention in the 1940s and the Radio and Television Commission of the SBC in 1956. The series included sermons by Baptist pastors Theodore F. Adams (1943 and 1956), Walter Pope Binns (1946), and a dramatization series (1948 and 1956). Theodore F. Adams served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. Walter Pope Binns served as President of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. The series addressed religious aspects of marriage, family life, and home life. The 15-minute programs were produced on 16-inch transcription audio discs with two programs on one disc.
Recordings in this presentation were transferred to mp3 format from 16-inch transcription audio discs. Digital files in this presentation are arranged by the preacher’s name (or dramatization), year, and the recording number assigned by the Radio Committee and Radio and Television Commission of the SBC.
